Delicate light green tea from South Western China.

CH6. Lapsang Souchong $15.00

A smoky flavoured Black Yunnan tea. Similar to black billy tea, cooked over the camp fire. As drunk by Katherine Mansfield with Russian Cherry jam.

CH7. A Jasmine Tea, Vietnam $10.00

This is a green tea with added Jasmine flowers. The quality is usually determined by the jasmine flowers that are used. It has a good colour and a delicate fragrance. Our supplier in Taiwan says this tea is a good thirst quencher and useful in weight reduction and cholesterol lowering.

CH8. Ooolong Tea (Four Seasons Tea), Taiwan $14.00

This is spring grown and comes from Nantou County. The tea is bright green and the taste in the mouth is very refreshing. It has a floral fragrance. Once you've tasted it you will not be able to forget its charm and appeal. It comes highly recommended if you want a cup of quality healthy oolong tea.

CH9. Pu-er Tea (Black), Yunnan $12.00

This is compressed tea from Yunnan in China. It comes in large cakes, so you can either have some broken off or a whole cake. It it one of the teas that is considered better if older. It is recommended with the black tea that when you first make it you wash the leaves. This is you throw away the first liquor from the tea. It is usually drank without milk, made in a clay tea pot. You can continually add hot water to the leaves and make the tea up to ten times in one session. But remember to drain all liquor from the leaves each time you pour. Unusually this tea is often kept in a cloth bag or a clay pot, not airtight tins like most other teas.

CH10. Pu-er Tea (Green), Yunnan $12.00

This tea is similar to the Black one above in that it is also compressed but it is fresher and green. It also comes in large cakes but we will break off pieces if you require. Minimum size 100 grams. It may be difficult to give you exactly 100 grams due to the nature of this tea if you do not want to take a whole cake.
